Are you passionate about interior design and looking for a career where your creativity meets craftsmanship? Houston Homes, LLC is growing, and we are looking for a talented, professional, and outgoing Design Center Coordinator to join our team in O’Fallon, Missouri!
Located in the heart of the Lakeside Shoppes Plaza in Winghaven, our New Home Design Center is where the magic happens. This is the place where our homebuyers’ visions come to life, and we need a dedicated professional to help guide them through the process.
The Role: Bringing Dreams to Life
As our Design Center Coordinator, you will work under the direction of our New Home Construction Designer. You’ll be the face of Houston Homes for customers during one of the most exciting parts of their home-building journey: the selection appointment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Guiding the Vision: Leading customers through our showroom to introduce a wide array of interior and exterior options.
- Expert Documentation: Carefully recording customer selections and inquiries to ensure every detail of their new home is captured accurately.
- Professionalism: Maintaining a polished, client-facing presence that reflects our company standards.
- Showroom Care: Helping to maintain and organize our high-quality samples to ensure the Design Center always looks its best.
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking a candidate who is currently enrolled in or has graduated from an Interior Design program. Because this role is highly collaborative, we are looking for someone who can set aside their personal style to help clients discover their own unique aesthetic.
Our ideal candidate is:
- A People Person: Outgoing, approachable, and a great listener.
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptionally attentive to the "little things" that make a home special.
- Knowledgeable: Familiar with new home construction and materials like cabinetry, tile, and lighting.
- Reliable: Punctual and professional with excellent communication skills.
Position Details
- Type: Full-Time
- Schedule: Monday – Friday
- Location: Lakeside Shoppes Plaza (Winghaven), near the intersection of Hwy 40/61 and DD/Winghaven Blvd.
